Google DeepMind, NHS explore deep learning in head and neck cancer treatment

Have you ever thought of creating a wonderful mathematical calculation that could solve real problems? At Google DeepMind they do just that. Now Google DeepMind is partnering with England’s National Health Service to determine whether machine learning can streamline radiotherapy planning for head and neck cancers, freeing up clinicians’ time for patient care and research.  Surely, that would be a good thing for patient care.
