This is a very exciting day for us. The beginning of a new phase for head and neck cancer people in New Zealand. We welcome you to our new site. www.headandneck.network

Please become a member, just click this link to follow through and join up. As a member you will be able to see and participate in much more than the public. 

You can join a regional group here. You will be able to contact and discuss with people in similar situations to yourself in your area.

It does not matter what stage of treatment you are, we have a discussion forum for before, during and after treatment. Just click here to join in.

We will be posting more resources, news and events over the coming week. We hope you enjoy the content and provide us with plenty of feedback.

An update on our progress....

We are so thankful to the people who have donated funds for our new interactive website. Thank you so much! We are 42% of the way there and time is running out. We now have a lot of information on the website. Information about head and neck cancer, all past newsletters going back to September 2014,  and six regional divisions in case people want to make links in their own communities.

Help us build a nationwide community for Head and Neck Cancer people.

The New Zealand based Head and Neck Cancer Survivors' Support Network is fundraising through Give A Little. The Network wants to purchase the Ning website which will give them everything they need to connect, support and advocate for their members throughout New Zealand.

A Ning is a community based website, offering facilities such as a blog, forums, groups, video hosting, online chat and much more. The Network wants to commit to the new website for a period of three years. The cost of this is NZ $ 2500.

Network Spokesperson, Marueen Jansen, says this software will provide a more interactive member friendly online presence.  "The Website will be curated to meet the needs of our members."

The Network created in February 2016 has grown its' membership 400%. Jansen says, "We believe we can provide a home base for the more than 2000 people in New Zealand who have had a head and neck cancer experience. We warmly welcome carers, family members, friends and health care professionals to our Network."
